Esnyr got candid during the April 1 episode, recalling a time when his father called him up from the province asking him to pay off his debts or else he would go to jail.
Everyday gumagawa ako ng script, mag-eedit ako, magsho-shoot ako,” he shared.
(Since I paid a pretty big amount just to keep my father out of jail, I work really hard. I accepted all the brands. Every day I write scripts, I edit, I shoot.)
Despite his efforts, the 23-year-old social media personality said his father even accused him of prioritizing personal enjoyment over helping with the family’s financial struggles.

(I was so busy at that time that my dad was messaging me, they were messaging me monthly, ‘Where’s the money?’ When I couldn’t reply, I first received my dad’s message to me saying, ‘You’re enjoying your life extravagantly. You can see your parents suffering. But it’s okay, I want you to know that we can live without you.’)

Esnyr underscored that he’s afraid of calling himself a breadwinner despite being the one who provides for his family as much as he can.
(It hurts so much because I did this for them. I don’t ask for things from them, I’m the one who gives them. I’m afraid to call myself a breadwinner because my father told me, ‘Don’t take all the credit just because you’re working.’)
After no’n always na nanghihingi. Never ako na-chat na kumusta, na kumusta lang,’” continued the content creator.
(I get that, so I don’t call myself a breadwinner. Every month, he messages me, ‘Hello, John, how are you?’ Then I reply. After that, he always asks for money. They never chatted to say hello, just to say hello.)
The vlogger shared that never in his life had he experienced saying I love you to his father and having his father say it back to him, or even the words that he’s proud of his son.
Esnyr extended a message to his father as he emphasized that their estranged relationship is something that has been bugging him for a long time now.
“Pa, sobrang mahal kita, Pa. I’m doing everything for you. Kahit wala man itong PBB o meron, gusto ko lang na magiging okay kami ng papa ko kasi parang buong buhay ko na ito binibitbit,” he expressed.
(Pa, I love you so much, Pa. I’m doing everything for you. Whether it’s PBB or not, I just want my dad and I to be okay because it feels like I’ve been carrying this my whole life.)
